Aerides Rosea

Aerides rosea, commonly known as the Rose Aerides Orchid, is a stunning epiphytic orchid admired for its long, arching spikes of soft pink, fragrant flowers. Native to Southeast Asia, this orchid is closely related to Aerides odorata but distinguished by its more delicate rose-pink coloration and slightly smaller flowers.

Each plant can produce multiple drooping spikes during the blooming season—typically in late spring to summer—each adorned with dozens of waxy, sweetly-scented blossoms. The captivating floral display and intense fragrance make it a favorite among orchid collectors.

This species thrives in warm, humid conditions with bright, indirect light. It grows best when mounted or placed in a hanging basket to allow its cascading flower spikes and aerial roots to develop naturally. Provide regular watering during the growing season and a drier period in winter to promote healthy flowering.
